Shrines are supportive of governmental foundations

 

Sheikh Abdul-Mehdi El-Kerbela’e, representative of the Shia Muslim Supreme Religious Authority, stated that the shrines in Iraq do not want to be instead of the ministries and the governmental agencies in terms of the educational, health, and service projects, but they want to assist them to improve the society.

 

It is worth mentioning that Imam Hussein Shrine has achieved many projects, such as schools, universities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc.
